A multi layered collaged painting made from oil and acrylic paint on linen and canvas, over a wooden panel. The original inspiration for this painting was an iPhone photo taken by the artist of a spinning fairground carousel. The mark making is built up over time in the studio - with brushes, oil bars and the artists bare hands – allowing for a strong sense of touch and physical engagement.
