| I use painting, print making and photography to explore abstract image making. Running through my work is the exploration of colour and the effect of shades lying one next to another in simple shapes, strips and layers. This is painterly, studio based work using oil and acrylics, still life photography of coloured wood blocks and giclée prints of drawings made with virtual brushes and colour palettes. |  |
我在伦敦学习了四年印花纺织品并获得学士学位，之后又在这座城市从事了二十年的时装与纺织行业工作，这段经历至今仍在塑造我的作品。1993年，我应邀担任家具面料设计总监，由此在澳大利亚悉尼度过了十三年。合同结束后，我重新发现了更具个人色彩的创造力，并兼读摄影与绘画。我开启了商业与编辑摄影的新事业，并利用业余时间进行艺术创作。在悉尼举办三次绘画个展后，我于2004年回到英国，定居斯特劳德。在这里，我举办了多次展览，并参加了许多群展和开放工作室活动。
