Her work draws on a strong sense of place, particularly Gloucestershire, where she grew up. Using water‑based media, she offers immediate, expressive and visceral responses to the landscape. Although she grew up in a village with “roses round the doors” she avoids the Romantic and picturesque in favour of the unseen—the non‑visible.
